Firefox updates to 1.0.1
The Mozilla Foundation has released a new version of Firefox, now at version 1.0.1. This new version addresses a number of publicised security problems (no browser is completely without them…), backing up its claim as one of the safest browsers currently on the internet.
Installation note: If you had previously installed Firefox from a “.zip” file, you’ll need to uninstall Firefox before running the upgrade. If you don’t know how you installed it, you probably just used the more common download from the main Firefox site, in which case just go ahead and upgrade.
