Spyware attacks the Brady Bunch

SpywareGuide has published a very pointed article that describes what would be the Brady Bunch’s experience if they bought a computer today.

In less than a week the shiny new PC the Bradys purchased runs like molasses. Even the pop-up blockers they bought (from pop-ups) don’t handle the situation. They can’t get to their favorite home page. Pop-ups continue to plague them and some are pornographic which makes Carol even more paranoid about Mike. Greg is grounded when the phone bill arrives at the end of the month sporting hundreds of dollars of international phone calls. The PC begins to gather dust and the Bradys go back to their lives before the PC. The new personal computer, despite all its power, is now merely a piece of dusty metal in the den. It would be hilarious if it didn’t describe so accurately the experiences of so many PC customers today.

Read and learn, people. Read and learn.

Blessings, Steve

    Lol. funny.

…and the google adsense-served ad at the bottom of the page for “adware blocker, 100% free adware removal tool” looks grand too.

Any wonder we’re in this mess…
