Recently, I posted about a flaw in Firefox that could potentially allow an attacker to see stuff that they shouldn’t.

Almost no sooner said than done, the Mozilla people have released an update for Firefox (version 1.0.3) that fixes the issue.

Download the update from the Firefox site, or if you use Firefox you can do the following:

  1. Click ToolsOptions from the menu bar.
  2. Click the Advanced button on the left.
  3. Expand the Software Update option using the small “+” (plus) icon.
  4. Press the Check Now button to update Firefox to the most current version (1.0.3).

Ah, the Open Source movement hard at work. Great stuff, people.

Blessings, Steve

They need to learn how to patchthough. Having to download the full 5mb install every time there is a small bug fix is annoying.
